The Superior Court of California, County of Solano, in collaboration with the District Attorney’s Office, the Public Defender’s Office, the Probation Department, and the Sheriff’s Office, is proud to offer the Real DUI Court in Schools Program to high schools in Solano County.
Upon invitation from the school, the Court and its justice partners will conduct a real, live young adult DUI trial at the school. This is a real, actual DUI trial in which a courtroom is set up at the school, complete with a judicial officer, bailiff, defendant, attorneys, witnesses and an “advisory jury” made up of students. After the trial, students may ask the trial participants questions regarding the case.
